Due to the weather its been a bit difficult to take the babies out for their portraits. Got a few done hastily yesterday but we had to dodge the rain! More pictures hopefully coming soon! Thanks for your patience.
My bunnies are probably all breathing a sigh of relief that finally we can have the windows open a bit to have a fresh supply of air after the long summer being closed up in the a/c. Even though we clean twice a day, it is always a struggle to keep it smelling fresh in there with all my cute bunnies dropping stuff 24/7!

Not much to see for the first week... This is Daisy's nest. She has them well covered with a thick blanket of her fur which she plucked from herself when she prepared for kindling.
It's been a while since we posted baby pictures so thought you'd enjoy some snapshots from the barn!

For those of you looking to purchase a bunny companion this fall... my next babies should be ready to list around the first or second week of November. This means they'll be ready for new homes around the end of November!
This week I had FIVE new litters born in the rabbitry! My Katielee had her first litter and three of them will be the Blue-Eyed-White bunnies! These bunnies will be ready towards the end of November.
I also have a couple of litters - one from Sophie and the other from Daisy - which will be listed online soon. So if you're looking to adopt, you'll want to keep an eye on the "available bunnies" page! Five little torts all in a box! Matilda's litter. Bonny Blue's babies - all lined up! Ruby's new litter - just a few days old
This is a story about somebunny who ate too much! He was the only surviving kit in his litter so his mommy doted on him a little too much! He ate and ate until all four legs stuck straight out. Still he loved to eat! His owner tried to put him on a diet which helped a little bit but it was too late for poor Blimpo. Two of his little legs just stick straight out. He is a happy bunny and somehow he still manages to get around but life will be a little different for him! The moral of the story is: be careful how much you eat!

AuthorI originally got the idea to raise rabbits for fertilizer for my garden! Obviously, one thing led to another and I am now the owner of a small rabbitry. I love my bunnies and enjoy spending time with them! Archives
